How to Make a Complaint

Every homeowner who reaches Basischaracteristics Septic should get a fair and honest experience. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to raise a complaint and what happens afterward. It is a general template, not legal advice.

What You Can Raise

You can write to us about:

• Your experience when you phoned or contacted Basischaracteristics Septic
• How your personal information was handled
• Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
• The conduct of a provider you were connected with

When the Issue Is a Provider

Providers in the network are independent businesses. They answer for their own quotes, pricing, work and customer service. If you have a problem with work on your septic system, sewer line or plumbing, the usual first step is to bring it to the provider directly and keep a written record.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback helps keep the network honest, and providers who keep falling short may be removed. Please note that Basischaracteristics Septic cannot settle contract disputes, refund a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.

Sending Your Complaint

Email contact@basischaracteristics.garden and include:

• Your name and how to reach you
• The date you contacted us or the provider
• The phone number you dialed or the form you used, if you remember
• The provider's name, if you know it
• A clear account of what happened and what outcome you want

After You Write

We will confirm receipt by email, usually within a few business days. We will look into what happened, which may include contacting the provider, and then reply with what we found and any steps we plan to take.

Still Unhappy?

If our reply does not satisfy you, answer it and ask us to take another look. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For concerns about licensed plumbing or septic contractors, your state licensing board or local health department may be able to help.
