Referral Marketing Disclosure

Last updated: October 2026

You deserve to know how Basischaracteristics Septic works and how it gets paid. This disclosure lays out our role. It is a general template, not legal advice.

A Referral Service, Not a Contractor

Basischaracteristics Septic is a referral and marketing service. It connects homeowners with independent plumbing and septic providers. It does not do septic tank pumping, septic system or drain field repair, sewer line repair or any other plumbing work.

When you use the phone number on this site or send a form, your call or request may be routed to an independent provider, or to a marketing partner that works with plumbing and septic providers in your area.

How Payment Works

Providers or marketing partners may pay Basischaracteristics Septic for calls, form submissions or other referrals sent their way. Payment can depend on factors such as how long a call lasts or whether it gets answered. Basischaracteristics Septic may be paid even if you never hire the provider.

This payment does not change what a provider charges you. You pay the provider directly for any work you agree to, at prices the provider sets.

Providers Stand on Their Own

Providers are independent businesses. They are not employees, agents or partners of Basischaracteristics Septic. Each one is solely responsible for:

• Its quotes, pricing and terms
• The quality and timing of its work
• Its licenses, insurance, permits and certifications
• How it communicates and behaves with you

A connection to a provider is not an endorsement of their work. Because of how payment works, the provider you reach may depend on which providers are part of the network at that moment.

The Decision Is Yours

You never have to hire a provider you are connected with. Ask questions, check licenses, request a written quote and compare other quotes before you decide.

Recorded Calls

Calls placed through this website may be tracked and, in some cases, recorded for quality, verification and billing.
